Robin Austin Dunn, 69, of Fair Haven, passed away on Wednesday, February 10th at home from complications arising from C.O.P.D. (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). Robin spent her early years in the Somerville area before transferring to Rumson-Fair Haven High School her junior year. She became a member of the Color Guard, the Daisy Chain and was a finalist for Homecoming Queen in 1963.
After graduating Rumson-Fair Haven High School in 1964, Robin worked for Princeton University and as a travel agent in NYC before settling into her long career in health care. As a long-time patient advocate, she worked at Red Bank Medical Associates, Red Bank and then at Professional Orthopedic Associates, Tinton Falls until retiring in 2010. Robin ran the soccer program for many years in Fair Haven in the '80s and coached girls' softball as well.
