Anna E. Ciampoli, 94, of Red Bank, died Saturday February 20, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Red Bank and was a lifelong Red Bank resident. Anna attended Red Bank High School and worked as a seamstress at Eisner’s in Red Bank during the war effort She was a member of Independent Engine Company Ladies Auxiliary and the River Street School PTA.
She was a devoted wife and mother who found great pleasure in putting out the welcome mat, having a place at the table for everyone. Her home was always open to family and friends. She will be tremendously missed by all who knew and loved her.
Anna was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Gerald M. Ciampoli, who died in 2010. She is survived by a son, Michael Ciampoli and his wife Diane of Ocean Twp, five daughters ; Rose Marie Demos and her husband Jeffrey of Middletown, Geraldine of Red Bank, Dolores of Shark River Hills, Michele of Red Bank, and Elizabeth of Eatontown, one sister, Edith Mangarelli of Wall Twp., and two grandchildren, Brianna and Jeffrey John and his wife Christy.
