Raymond Mathew Webb passed away peacefully at home with his family on January 6, 2022. Born and raised in the Bronx, NY alongside his sister Joan (deceased) and brother Sonny (deceased) a piece of his heart will always remain in “the neighborhood.”
Raymond is survived by his sons Keith and Casey, Keith’s wife Shirley, their son Ty and his Granddog Iggy Pup. Known as “Uncle Ray” to much of the family, Raymond always had a special place in his heart for nephews Billy & Bobby and niece Karen.
Charles "Charlie" J. Crowley, Jr., passed away on December 28, 2021, at the age of 80. He was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, raised and resided in Bayonne, New Jersey, till finally settling in Tinton Falls, New Jersey, with his wife Maryann Crowley (nee Zuchowski), for over 40 years. Charlie worked for the Office of Information Technology in Trenton, New Jersey, retiring in 2014.
Elizabeth Morgan Miltenberger, 91, also known as Liz and Biz, of LITTLE SILVER, died peacefully December 22 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, NJ. Liz was born January 26, 1930, in Baltimore, MD and raised in Port Washington, LI, NY. She graduated Kendall Hall School for Girls, Peterborough, NH then Centenary Junior College, Hackettstown, NJ in 1950. Liz planned to further her education at Bucknell University yet met her forever person in Henry and married in 1951.
Anita Ruth Rosen was born in Far Rockaway, NY on July 14, 1926, and grew up in Brooklyn NY. Anita was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Bernie Rosen, and her brother, Jesse Greenberg. Surviving are her children: Jeffrey Rosen (Carol), Seth Rosen (Melinda), and Lise Howard (Bill); eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two nieces and a nephew. She was a devoted daughter and sister, a wonderful wife, and a great mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
David B. Cadamuro passed away peacefully, in his sleep on December 17, 2021. He was a retired Senior Accounts Sales Manager for Power Generation at Solar Turbines, a subsidiary of Caterpillar, in Upper Saddle River NJ, where he led turbine-power generation sales of gas turbines in the 1 Megawatt to 50 Megawatt range for over 20 years, always being highly respected by his colleagues.
Carol Cesario, 64, of Matawan, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021. Carol and her family have lived in Matawan for 30 years. She worked in religious education at St. Benedict Catholic Church & School in Holmdel, NJ for 16 years. Carol embodied the Christian spirit with her love and respect for everyone.
Carol battled metastatic breast cancer for over four years with the support of her husband Sal, of 32 years, and three children Bianca, and fiancé Patrick Herlihy, Sam and Christopher. She is also survived by her four siblings, Rudy and Antionette Coupe, Suzanne and Ed Trainor, Bill and Rita Coupe, and Joan and Dennis Brady.
Patricia Ann Victory Riddle passed away peacefully December 15th 2021, at her home in Little Silver. She was born on the 4th of July 1939. Her life is to be celebrated. Patricia is loved for her gift of kindness and focus on family and friends and her beautiful blue eyes and wonderful smile.
Patricia had an active lifestyle. She was a member of the Junior League, Monmouth Beach Bath & Tennis Club, Seabright Lawn & Tennis club, golf at Spring Lake Country Club, ski trips to Vermont. Patricia captured and embraced life. She always loved going to the city to see a Broadway play or going to restaurants with friends and family. Patricia enjoyed life and travelled the world with her beloved husband Ronald. She always loved gardening. Her beautiful flowers reflected the joy and happiness that she brought to everyone. Patricia enjoyed her long walks on the boardwalk at the Jersey shore and the beautiful views of the ocean.
Joan Verdon Peer, age 84, passed away peacefully at home on December 15th surrounded by her adoring husband Norman, and her children whom she loved so much.
Mrs. Peer was born in Hoboken on Jan. 12, 1937, the fourth of John and Hazel Verdon’s five children. She was raised in Ridgewood and in 1958 earned a bachelor’s degree in English Literature at Rosemont College outside Philadelphia.
While studying at Rosemont, she met Norman Peer, then a student at Villanova University, who became the love of her life. They married in 1962 and settled in 1970 in Little Silver where they raised their five children, who were born within eight years of each other. When all were teenagers, Joan and Norm welcomed 35 foster children into their home, two of whom they adopted – the famous Peer twins, Jennifer Anne and Justin Michael. Over the next twelve years, they opened their door and their arms to many more, taking in 35 foster children in all.
Norah M. Dufficy passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 11, 2021, with her loving husband of 58 years Patrick, by her side. Norah is survived by her loving family; husband Patrick, son James, daughter-in-law Suzanne, sisters Kathleen, Mary, Bernie, brother Bill, and her most precious treasures, grandchildren Jack, Finnbar and Shea. Norah was predeceased by her parents, Jim and Julia O’Brien and brother John.
James William Cox, 54, of Little Silver, passed away on December 7, 2021 after a brief, courageous battle with Pancreatic cancer.
