Jane Fox, 60, of Delray Beach, Florida, passed away November 28 after a courageous battle with cancer. Jane was born March 4, 1957 in Elizabeth, New Jersey and is survived by daughter Kate (Andrew) Hess and son Colin Behan, both of Middletown, New Jersey. Her parents Edward and Margaret Fox of Union, New Jersey and brothers Robert and Jamie Fox predeceased her.
Survivors include a brother Tom (Nancy) of Fredon, New Jersey and two sisters, Judy (Dan) Higgins and Meg (Don) Fox-Koscheka of Red Bank, New Jersey.
Jane studied at Parsons School of Design and after enjoyed a career in advertising and marketing in New York. Jane then relocated to Florida and spent the last decade of her life as the Director of Resident Services for The Sanctuary in Delray Beach, where she has left a legacy of inspirational service to men and women seeking a better life in recovery. Family and friends both North and South will profoundly miss Jane for her kind and generous spirit.
Friends and family are invited for visitation Saturday, December 9th from 10am-1pm at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St., Red Bank.
Donations may be made to Wayside House (https://www.waysidehouse.net) in Jane’s name, an innovative treatment center to benefit women in recovery.
