Joseph A. Biagianti

Joseph Anthony Biagianti, 79, of Keyport, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Bayshore Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on January 8, 1947, Joe was the beloved son of the late Agrecio and Connie Biagianti. He was raised in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, where he developed a lifelong commitment to service and community. He graduated from Simmons School of Mortuary Science and began his career with Bedle Funeral Home in Keyport, where he compassionately served families during their times of greatest need.

Joe believed that serving others was one of life's greatest callings. That commitment began in his youth when he earned the rank of Eagle Scout and continued throughout his life in countless ways. He was a proud member and Past President of the Keyport Kiwanis Club, a member and Past President of the Keyport Board of Education, a dedicated member of Raritan Hose Fire Company No. 2 and the Keyport Fire Department, Inc., and a Scoutmaster for the multiple Boy Scout troops over the years. He was also a founding member of Jesus the Lord Knights of Columbus Council #12232 and a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Parish.

Outside of his many community commitments, Joe found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. He especially loved spending time at Thousand Islands Park, New York, where he enjoyed fishing on the beautiful St. Lawrence River. Whether sharing stories on the boat, enjoying time with friends, or gathering with family, those moments brought him tremendous joy.

Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Anne Roberta (Visconti) Biagianti; his loving sons, Joseph "Jay" Biagianti and his wife, Mary, and Louis Biagianti and his significant other, Tiffany Stewart; his brother, Arthur Biagianti and his wife, Sue; and his sister, Nancy Fellabaum.

Joe also leaves behind 13 Visconti In-laws & Out-laws who loved him dearly, as well as 24 nieces and nephews, 36 great-nieces and great-nephews, 10 great-grand-nieces and great-grand-nephews, and many cousins, lifelong friends, neighbors, and fellow volunteers whose lives were enriched by knowing him.

Joe's greatest pride was his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a loyal brother and uncle, and a trusted friend. He led by example through kindness, humility, generosity, and a steadfast willingness to help anyone in need. His legacy of faith, service, and love will continue to live on in the many lives he touched.

Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Joe's life. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 21st at 10 am at Our Lady of Fatima, 375 Maple Pl, Keyport, NJ 07735.
