With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved son and brother, Shane Connor Taylor, who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 34. 

Shane was born on April 9th, 1990, in Long Branch, New Jersey to Ronald and Patricia Taylor. Shane attended Red Bank Catholic High School and was a Local 40 IronWorker for 12 years. Shane was a loving brother, son, cousin, and friend to many. He had a heart of gold and a contagious positive energy. Shane was a charismatic jokester, phenomenal dancer, and lover of people and animals. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, automobiles and the brotherhood of his Local 40 ironworker members. Shane also gave the best hugs!

Shane is survived by mother Patricia, father Ronald, step mother Nancy, brother RJ, sister Paige and her fiance Karl, and extended family members who will miss him dearly every day. He is preceded by many loved ones in heaven including his brother Patrick, grandparents, aunts, uncles and extended family members.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6th from 4-7 pm at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 7th at 10:30 am at St. James Church, 94 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Shane to the Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall St, Eatontown, NJ 07724.
