With deep sadness, we announce the passing of beloved wife and mother, Victoria Maresca, who died on August 2, 2024, at the age of 80.
Born Victoria Ellen Pucci on February 22, 1944, in Brooklyn, NY, where she grew up, she later moved to Sorrento, Italy, where she met the love of her life, Massimo Maresca. They soon married and returned to the NY area, eventually moving to Rumson, NJ, where they have been long-time residents. She was a dedicated wife to her husband Massimo, and a devoted mother to her children Madeleine and Erika.
Victoria lived a fulfilling life and was a woman of many talents. She had a particular passion for cooking and entertaining for her extended family, and her homemade dishes were always the highlight of those gatherings.
Victoria was a kind and generous soul, always putting others’ needs before her own. Her love and compassion extended to all those who knew her, and she will be remembered for her warm personality.
She is survived by her husband, Massimo, her children, Madeleine and Erika, and her grandchildren, Jesse, Eliot, Yasmine and Matthias, who will all miss her dearly.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Saint George's by the River Episcopal Church, 7 Lincoln Avenue, Rumson, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Parker Family Health Center in Red Bank, NJ in memory of Victoria Maresca. Thompson Memorial Home of Red Bank, NJ has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Rest in peace, dear Vicky. You will forever be in our hearts and memories.
