Edward “Ed” V. Callow, Jr. age 68, of Red Bank, NJ passed away on November 7, 2023. Ed was born in Perth Amboy General Hospital on 11/2/1955, the son of Edward V. Callow Sr. and Dorothy Sroka Callow Verducci. He resided in Port Reading NJ for ten years, relocated to Perth Amboy NJ and later settled in Red Bank NJ where he resided for the last 24 years.
He was a third generation Iron Worker Local 373 (now Local 11) his Grandfather John Sroka and his father Edward V. Callow, Sr before him. Ed retired from Iron Working in 2017 and when asked would always say it is a great trade and wouldn't have had it any other way.
Ed was a talented and gifted artist, loved traveling and music, attending concerts and shows, and enjoyed the Jersey Shore. He was a man of integrity, authentic, honest, kind, smart, funny, and will be forever missed by family and friends.
Ed was predeceased by his father and best bud, Edward V. Callow Sr. He is survived by his mother Dorothy Sroka Callow Verducci, sisters Patricia Callow Rebbel and Brenda Callow Soto (Joe), nephews Jesse Soto (Madison), Daniel Rebbel, Jason Soto (Amanda) and niece Jacquelyn Diaz (Alberto) and great nieces Sophia, Scarlett, Sabrina, Izabelle and great nephew Alberto.
Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, December 9th at 11 am at St. James Church, 94 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701.
