Corinne Mary Cassati Orosz

Corinne Mary Cassati Orosz went to her heavenly home on Sept 13th, 2023 at the age of 84.

Originally born and raised in Staten Island, NY and later moved to the Poconos, Corinne was the daughter of William and Mary Cassati, who owned and operated a grocery store and a hotel/restaurant where she worked and learned the life of running a business. She later went to college at East Stroudsburg University to study teaching which was her true calling.

Corinne met and married her husband Robert, and they moved to Pine Beach to begin their life together and raise their three children. They had a wonderful life in that little beach town. Corinne taught at Pine Beach Elementary School until she retired. She loved working with children and enjoyed her teaching career very much. She took some time in the beginning years of her young family to be a stay-at-home mom, and later she juggled a full life of a teaching career while continuing to be a homemaker.

Always a health and well-being advocate, Corinne could consistently be found at the gym throughout her life. She always was conscious about healthy eating and nutrition. She also enjoyed shopping and cooking. The most important in life to her, was her family and friends. Corinne’s 3 children and 7 grandchildren were the light of her life, and there wasn’t anything she enjoyed more than spending time with them.

Later in life after her husband died, she bravely moved out of her cherished home to Seabrook Village where she lived for three years. She made many good friends and immersed herself in the activities they offered.

Corinne is survived by her son Robert, and her daughters Melissa and Kimberly; her son in laws Stephen and Christian; and her grandchildren Justin, CJ, Kaleigh, Kali, Jenna, Courtney, and Caroline.

Corinne was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her father, Bill; her mother, Mary; and her brother Salvatore.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 7th, 2023, at 10:00 am at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 94 Brod St, Red Bank, NJ 07701.
