William Joseph Colmorgen, age 57, of Red Bank NJ went home to the Lord on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. Bill was born on April 7, 1965, and was raised in Colts Neck NJ. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 825.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, Harry, his mother Mildred, his sister Charmaine Alfaro (Richard), and his niece Elizabeth. He is survived by his brothers, Garrett (Martha) and Harry Jr (Dawn), niece Jessica and nephew Harry III (Sara).
A classically trained organist, Bill was passionate about his music. He studied music at Boston University and performed from a very young age in concerts and private events.
Bill was a proud, strong man and he had an unwavering faith in God. He had a deep love for the Word of God and was tenacious in his research of all things pertaining to His works. He loved his church and gave generously to many in need. His last notes were joyous ones, giving thanks to the Lord for answering his prayers.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day - and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:7-8
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, April 15th from 11-11:30 am with a prayer service at 11:30 am at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701. Entombment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choosing.
