Tracy Bruce Thompson, age 64, of Oakhurst, NJ peacefully passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022 after a brave battle with cancer surrounded by his family and friends. Tracy was raised in Spring Lake, NJ. He graduated from Manasquan High School and the Audio Institute of Technology in New York City. He enjoyed his career as an audio and recording engineer working with many well-known artists. Later, he became the owner/operator of Allaire Argent where he designed and built speaker cases/cabinets for many musicians.
Tracy always enjoyed a good meal, surrounded by good company. He loved to relax at home watching his favorite TV shows with his wife Robin and their fur babies. Tracy and Robin loved to go to the Poconos to spend time in the cabin with their dogs. He was always supportive and proud of all his nieces and nephews accomplishments.
Tracy was predeceased by his parents, James Bruce and Clara Thompson, and his brother James “Jim” Thompson and sister Kim. He is survived by his “sweetie” Robin (nee Bickell) Thompson, sister Melissa Aldridge (James), sister-in-law Ann Thompson, brother Hank Thompson, his Aunt Dorothy Musgrave, nieces and nephews: Chad, Robin, Jamie, Ryan, Maria, Victoria, and his very dear friends James Marttine (Diane) and his fur babies Winnie, Sunshine, and Mugsy.
Tracy had a soft spot in his heart for animals, especially his dogs who brought him so much joy. He will be remembered for his kind heart, listening ear, great appetite, and his love for animals. Tracy will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 4-7pm at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 11:30 am at Atlantic View Cemetery, 49 Forest Ave, Manasquan, NJ 08736. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice that involves the care and love for animals in honor of Tracy.
