Marie Antoinette Manginelli

Marie Antoinette Manginelli passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home in Tinton Falls on Saturday, October 1, 2022.

Born in Manhattan, Marie grew up in Brooklyn, New York, where she graduated from Bay Ridge High School in 1959. She married her husband John Manginelli in 1960 and together the two raised five children on Staten Island before retiring to New Jersey.

Marie's love and devotion to her family are her greatest legacy. She enjoyed cooking for them and pampering them with her gentility and her exceedingly kind heart.

She is survived by her husband John, her daughters Rosemarie Salomonsen, Jacqueline Cotogno, Elizabeth LoMonaco, her son Christopher Manginelli, her sons-in-law, Roy Salomonsen and Joe LoMonaco, and her daughters-in-law, Alena Manginelli and Thea Manginelli as well as her brother Dominick Esposito. Also surviving Marie are her six grandchildren: John and Andrew Manginelli, Stephanie Libutti, Mathew Salomonsen and Amanda and Christopher LoMonaco. Marie was predeceased by her son John D. Manginelli and her parents Natale and Josephine Esposito.

Marie was an avid reader who most enjoyed spending time with her family as well as dining out, current events and her feline friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 4th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Red Bank, New Jersey. Donations in Marie's name can be made to St. Jude's Hospital for Children. Thompson Memorial Home Red Bank has been entrusted with the arrangements.
