John Thomson peacefully passed away on May 16, 2022 at the age of 97. John was a veteran in the US Army and saw action during WWII. After the war, John began a 41-year career with PSE&G and rose from his entry level position to Manager of the Electric Meter Department.
John was predeceased by loving wife of 72 years, Dolores. He is survived by his three children, Joann, wife of Stephen Lazorchak, Paul and his wife Susan, and Robert and his wife Carol. John had three grandchildren Adam Lazorchak married to Hayes, Mary married to Kevin Fennessy, and Eric Thomson married to Dierdre, and four great grandchildren Cassidy and Avery Fennessy, Alexander Lazorchak, and Claire Thomson. John will be remembered lovingly by his family and friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 10 a.m. at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 94 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701. Thompson Memorial Home of Red Bank, NJ has been entrusted with the arrangements.
