Helen Kelly Shute, currently residing at Arbor Terrace in Tinton Falls, passed away on January 31st. Helen was the daughter of the late Edward Kelly and Helen Carr Kelly. She was born and raised in Shrewsbury, NJ. Helen had also lived in Spotswood, Milltown and Forked River before moving to Leisure Village West in 2002.
Helen was a graduate of Red Bank Catholic High School and St. Peter School of Nursing in New Brunswick, NJ, and had worked as an RN for the New Brunswick Pediatric Group for 32 years and then the Pediatric Affliliates in Manahawkin.
She is predeceased in by her husband of 58 1/2 years, Richard F. Shute, in 2002 and also her brothers Edward M. and John J. Kelly; sisters Margaret A. Gibson and Josephine Schissler and sister in laws Sr. Mary E. Shite and Doris G. Shute. She is survived by her brotehr William J. Kelly and his wife Jean and her sister Mary C. Fricano, of Arlington, VA. Known as "Aunt Hud", she leaves 115 nieces and nephews, 10 in-laws and friends and neighbors who call her Kelly.
Services were held on February 15th under the direction of Thompson Memorial Home.
