Mildred “Doris” Anderson Kuebler

Mildred “Doris” Anderson Kuebler, 98, of Tinton Falls, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2022 at Seabrook Village, Tinton Falls, New Jersey.

Mildred was born June 9, 1923 in Brooklyn, New York to William M. and Mildred A. Anderson. Mildred was a graduate of Grover Cleveland High School, Caldwell, NJ in 1939. She went to Secretarial School in Montclair, New Jersey. She joined the W.A.V.E.S. in 1943 and was assigned to U.S. Intelligence in Washington, D.C. until the end of World War II in 1946.

She earned her B.A. and Master’s Degree from Kean College. She was an Executive Secretary for Bell Telephone Laboratories, where she met her beloved husband, William Kuebler, who was an Electrical Engineer.

She loved to travel and did so frequently, infecting her husband with “the travel bug” after they married. She loved learning new languages, and had knowledge of French, Spanish and Russian, which made traveling even more enjoyable. She also loved making pottery, gardening, tennis, singing and animals.

Mildred was predeceased by her beloved husband William, and her parents William and Mildred.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad Street, Red Bank, NJ. A Graveside Service will follow the visitation at 12:30 pm at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Homeside Hospice, 67 Walnut Avenue, Suite 205, Clark, New Jersey 07066.
