Eleanore Miceli (nee O’Donnell), of Tinton Falls, passed away on February 3, 2022. She was born in Jersey City and resided in Tinton Falls for 51 years. She retired from Brookdale Community College in 1990.
Eleanore was an avid seamstress and had a passion for needlework and gardening.
She is predeceased by her husband Leonard; her parents Mary and Thomas O’Donnell; sisters Miriam and Dorothy and brothers Thomas and Joseph O’Donnell. She is survived by her daughters Jeannette and her husband Peter Lepre and Laura and her husband John Miceli; her grandsons Steven Park and his wife Lindsey and Matthew Miceli and his wife Terren-Lee and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 15th, from 4 to 7 pm, at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad Street, Red Bank. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 16th, at 10:15 am, at St. Leo the Great RC Church, 50 Hurley’s Lane Lincroft. Burial will follow at the Brig Gen Wm C Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Eleanore’s memory to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
