welcome

Raymond Mathew Webb passed away peacefully at home with his family on January 6, 2022. Born and raised in the Bronx, NY alongside his sister Joan (deceased) and brother Sonny (deceased) a piece of his heart will always remain in “the neighborhood.”

Raymond is survived by his sons  Keith and Casey, Keith’s wife Shirley, their son Ty and his Granddog Iggy Pup. Known as  “Uncle Ray” to much of the family, Raymond always had a special place in his heart for nephews Billy & Bobby and niece Karen.

Raymond was a fun loving guy with a quick wit, a huge heart and a contagious smile and laugh. For many years after his retirement, Raymond was a bartender known to be a good listener with a kind way about him.

Raymond devoted free time to volunteering at Riverview Medical Center as a patient observer. Also, a lifelong member with the Little Silver Fire Company, Raymond greatly enjoyed his time with the fellow First Aid and Fire community.

Known to others as “Spider” (childhood friends), “Tanga-Ray” (cousins), “Pop or Pop Pop” (his grandson), and simply “Dad” to his sons. Raymond will be greatly missed by all who knew him and if you owed him money (you know who you are) now would be the time to pay up.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 10 a.m. at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 94 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the The Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey and Camp TREK.  https://www.bianj.org/donate/
