Margaret (Marge) Mistysyn passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 5 at the age of 93. Born in Pennsylvania, she spent her married years raising her children in Edison, NJ. She is survived by her 2 daughters Karen Miller of Galveston, TX and Janice Lima of Ocean, NJ. After the passing of her husband, Peter, Marge moved in with her daughter Janice, her husband Bill and grandsons Michael and Steven with whom she happily lived for 27 years.
Watching her grandsons grow up was the greatest joy of her life. She also enjoyed traveling and going to plays with her friends. She spent over 20 years volunteering at Monmouth Medical Center in the volunteer office. A dedicated volunteer, she was also the proud recipient of the Clara Field Award.
Visitation will be Monday, August 10th at 10 am at Thompson Memorial Home in Red Bank. A service will follow at 11 am. (Masks must be worn by all visitors and will not be provided by the funeral home). Burial will follow at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport.
