Anthony Joseph Perrotta, Sr., 76, of Manalapan, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 25, 2019.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, he is survived by his three adored children Dorianne, Anthony Jr., and Dana, their spouses Frank, Kathleen, and John; and his brother Kim. He remains the proud grandfather of six grandchildren: Matthew (and his wife Sophia), Robyn, Jamis, Devon Rose, Lilyanna, and Johnny; and his great grandson Alexander. He is reunited in heaven with his treasured wife and true love of 54 years, Concetta; the parents he worshipped, Louis and Rose; and his cherished sister Lucille.
A truly great man, who lived a selfless, “family above all else” life. Always mindful and respectful of his origins, his sole mission was to give those around him a better life than his own. We celebrate a man who made no excuses and held no regrets; who gave everything to those he loved. His legacy resides in the knowledge that all we have become, and all the goodness we possess, emanates entirely from him.
We’ll miss his infectious smile, the Italian version of “Archie Bunker”, and his unending and tremendous generosity; casinos everywhere will undoubtedly miss his “sneaky” visits, and his poker buddies, the constant “all-in” action…No matter where we are, the man we affectionately called “BoBo”, always walks with us.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 1st, from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad Street, Red Bank, NJ. A private funeral service will be held for immediate family. Flowers are appreciated. If you are inclined, please consider a donation to the Deborah Heart & Lung Center, 200 Trenton Road, Browns Mills, NJ 08015.
